one Friday night I took a look at the Earth for the very last time since my very last birth went to my rest on a slab in a tomb woke up restless in somebody's womb one more time I went towards the light one more time I didn't quite get it right one Saturday morning I opened my eyes for the very first time since the last time I died one more lifetime of walking around under the sky and over the ground soaking up taste, smell, vision and sound while my soul tries to comprehend all I have found one more chance at rhyme or reason one more go at subversion and treason one more life to find a new lease in the wheel turns around and it don't need greasin one more lifetime of rivals and friends meetings with countless women and men until the day that it comes to an end then I'll come back and try it again, yeah one Saturday night I took a look at the Earth for the very last time since my very last birth |
